General Information

Providing your Company Name


We will use your company name as entered on all relevant customer-facing documentation. Please ensure that your company name is written exactly as you wish it shown to customers. For example, your company's legal name may be Worldwide Printing Incorporated, but you may choose to show your name simply as Worldwide Printing. You will have the opportunity to change this name in the future by submitting a support ticket.




Store Number


If you are part of a franchised network, or if you own multiple stores, please provide your store number. For more information please contact support@planprophet.com





Organization Wide Emails

Accounts Receivables E-mail


PlanProphet helps with your accounts receivables by automatically submitting invoices and statements to customers at intervals of your choice. When sending invoices or statements manually from PlanProphet (one at a time, on a case-by-case basis), the email will be sent on behalf of the user performing this action. However, for automated submissions of invoices and statements (where PlanProphet's auto-engine, not any specific user, is automatically sending them) then you must specify the email you wish shown. For example, you may use a general accounting department email address such as accounting@yourdomain.com, or the email address of the staff member that typically sends invoices or statements.




Proposal Follow-Up E-mail


Consistently following up on proposals submitted is a simple winning strategy with PlanProphet. The original proposal submitted to your customer will always be sent on behalf of the user performing this action. However, automated follow-ups (where PlanProphet's auto-engine, not any specific user, is automatically performing the follow-up actions) require that you specify an email address for this purpose. We recommend that you use a general email address such as quotes@yourdomain.com, or the email address of a staff member that is typically in charge of proposal follow-ups.




Proofs Follow-Up Email


PlanProphet contains a very useful "Proof Submission & Management" module. The original proof sent to customers will always be sent on behalf of the user performing this action. However, the eventual daily follow-ups to proofs still pending approval will be automatically performed by PlanProphet's auto-engine. An email address must be assigned for this purpose. A good practice is to use a general graphics department email address such as graphics@yourdomain.com, or the email address of a staff member that is typically in charge of following on proofs pending approval. Sync & Monitoring

Finding Your MIS Database Path


Tip: It is advised that you complete this section with the assistance of your IT administrator. Please provide the exact path to your MIS database, as a target from the workstation or server where PlanProphet Link will run. PlanProphet Link is the software responsible for establishing a live connection between your local database and PlanProphet's secure cloud servers. It should be installed on a Windows-based workstation or server that:

  • is always on,
  • has continuous and reliable internet connectivity, and
  • preferably, isn't used as the daily computer of any staff member.
To find your database path: On the server or workstation where you plan to install PlanProphet Link, go to Printer's Plan Home tab. Under the about folder, select 'My Database'. The location of the database should be listed at the top of the window that is displayed: Please copy this location and paste it on your Set-Up & Technical Data form. Note: If your database resides on a network drive such as a NAS, please provide the correct network path as seen from the workstation where PlanProphet Link will be installed, for example, \\servername\printersplan\PlanData.mdb.




Finding Your Public IP Address (IPv4)


To properly monitor the health of your local organization's connection with PlanProphet's servers, we require your Public IP Address.
To obtain your Public IP Address, simply visit the following address FROM the workstation that you plan to install PlanProphet Link on:

Finding Sales Person ID

Finding your Sales Person number


When adding a salesperson user to PlanProphet, it is critical that we match this user to the corresponding salesperson in your MIS. For this purpose, we require the related salesperson number/ID. In Printer's Plan go to Setting → Employees → Sales Rep and provide the corresponding value (this is usually a 3 digit number) For more information please contact support@planprophet.com
